Toni Kief, a child of the 60s, born in the Midwestern USA, and after multiple moves, chose the Pacific Northwestern, Toni has decades of activism and challenging the boundaries of society. After a long career as an insurance adjuster, she fell into writing through a challenge from a friend. She released her first book, Old Baggage, and followed with Mildred in Disguise: with Diamonds. She was surprised to have Mildred take over her existence. Mildred Aces and Eights was just released.
In Toni’s lifelong fascination with history lead her to the lost story of her 9x great grandmother Susanna Jackson-White. From this discovery and several years of research, Saints, Strangers and Rosehip Tea was written. It is the women’s story of the Separatists, movement in England, which lead to the Mayflower voyage to the new world.
With a friend, Susan Brown, they developed the Writers Cooperative of the Pacific Northwest which continues to grow with authors of all genres. They all work together driving for inspiration and success.
Toni claims she never dated Mick Jagger, but marched for civil rights, broke bread with icons of politics and art. She is spending her retirement, wrestling cats, and gathering stories prime for embellishment. Writing has taught her inspiration without perspiration is just a good idea. HTTP://tonikief.com.
